Welcome to Admissions & Advising

Thank you for your interest in Wake Technical Community College.  In order to take any classes at Wake Tech, you must first apply to the College. Wake Tech offers two types of courses: college-credit curriculum courses and non-credit continuing education courses.

College Credit Courses-  College credit courses are courses that result in the awarding of college credit upon satisfactory completion.  College credit courses apply towards degree, diploma, and certificate programs, as well as college transfer credit.  Click here if you are interested in college credit courses.

Continuing Education Courses-  Continuing education programs provide courses for those who need to train, retrain, and update themselves in a vocational or professional area, for those who desire instruction enabling them to grow in basic knowledge, improve in home and community life, and develop or improve leisure time activities, and for those individuals whose education stopped short of high school.  Click here if you are interested in continuing education courses.
