What Type of Student Are You?
Please select the type of student that best describes you below to receive specific instructions on how to enroll and register for courses at Wake Tech.|
A health science student is someone that wishes to enroll in a Wake Tech Health Science program to pursue an Associate's degree, diploma, or certificate program.
Returning Student
A returning student is a former Wake Tech student returning to school after an absence of one year or more, and plans to complete a degree, diploma, certificate, or 12 or more credits to transfer to another school. Returning students entering a Health Science program should select Health Science Student.
Special/Visiting Student
A special or visiting student is defined as one of the following:
International Student
An international student is defined as a student that needs to be issued an I-20 form to be eligible to study in the United States.

New Student
A new student is someone with a high school diploma (or in their last semester of high school), or GED that has never attended any college or university.
Please Note: If you are a new student that plans on enrolling in one of our Health Sciences programs such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Radiography, etc., please select Health Sciences Student. Students that are currently in high school that would like to take college classes while still enrolled in high school, please select Current High School Student.
Transfer Student
A transfer student is defined as a student that has attended another college or university and is seeking a degree, diploma, certificate, or to complete 12 or more credits in order to transfer to another college or university.
Please Note: If you are a transfer student that plans on enrolling in one of our Health Sciences programs such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Radiography, etc., please select Health Sciences Student.
Current High School Student
A current high school student is defined as a student that wishes to take college credit courses while they are still enrolled in high school. Concurrent Enrollment (formerly Dual Enrollment) is a program for current high school students that are at least 16 years old and wish to take selected college credit courses at Wake Tech. Students must be enrolled at least half-time in high school to qualify for the Concurrent Enrollment program.
